Roddick Lake Hiking Trail:  A well marked trail will take you to a belvedere with a magnificent view. If you continue further you will reach lac Lochiel. The cottage is close to the trail but it must be accessed by boat. To find it from the cottage, just follow the shore to the right, go past the little island, and at the second bay on your right hand side you will see a large dock where you can leave the boat. From there, follow the signs to the Belvedere. Roddick lake hiking trail map
