We took possession of our new cottage rental property on August 22nd 2016 and proceeded to drive immediately up to Bouchette from Ottawa with our children for a two week summer holiday! We have fallen in love with our new place and we’ve shared it with our parents and siblings during our first few weeks here. We’ve enjoyed bbq’s on our lovely deck looking straight out to the lake through the tempered glass and glasses of wine while being amazed over the beautiful changing sunsets. We all loved swimming off the dock and from our little sandy beach. Our kids had fun building large fires in the fire pit and going kayaking and canoeing. I was able to work my business with the wifi that’s available on the days I spent on my own and my husband and I even celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here.
